The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) is a repository for many DNA genetic test on dogs and cats. OFA recognizes several DNA testing facilities that perform these DNA tests. OFA does not currently accept tests performed by International Genetics, Inc from InGen's Pawsitive I.D. testing platform. As a dog and/or cat breeder, we believe Pawsitive I.D. is a revolutionary DNA testing product that greatly reduces the cost of genetic testing. Such cost reductions makes testing more affordable and thus more breeders will take part in a (any) testing program. This will result in healthier breeds. By signing this petition, you are asking OFA to accept the Pawsitive ID testing format and post the results obtained from International Genetics, Inc the OFA database.
