As a Mom of a LEO, there is no greater honor than supporting Officers, K9’s, and Mounted Patrols. Whether they apply or are “recruited” they do a job others won’t/can’t do. They are all deserving of the highest honor.

Police Horses should be recognized when their lives are taken in the line of duty. They are Horse Officers and deserve this with all they give to protect their partners , training, etc. Their Lives Mean Something to the Mounted Patrol Officers and community they serve !

My father and countless mounted officers have been a massive part of my life and I've seen first hand how much benefit these mounts are to the community, the unit, and the police as a whole. It is very much how the k9s bring a variety of aspects to the world in their line of service. They deserve the recognition for their lives dedicated to the police force. Four hooves and four paws honor them equally!
