Our equine officers should be recognized for their service and dedication

Patrol Horses are just as important as an officer AND a K9-Police Dog.

Horses are respected partners in police and Miltary forces and should be respected, honored as such.

They served too and should be remembered for their service!

Horses are an incredible gift to us. Let's remember their service and sacrifice to help keep officers and others safe. Thank you.

My father was part of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Horse Patrol.

Horses play a critical role in law enforcement, they need to be included in ODMP.

They are first responder as well

Police horses take a battering when on duty , can take an officer into and out of terrain faster with more equipment than a man can , and a vehicle cannot go. And a dog can't carry. They invaluable in backcountry, and crowded situations.

My mounted horse Cayenne was electrocuted while on duty in downtown Orlando. We were making arrests almost every day while still participating in community events.

They should have the same laws for police horses too they are considered part of the police force

Very surprised that in the state of the commonwealth of Kentucky and home of the Kentucky Derby for our love of horses this has is not already law.
