my migraine issue is getting worse from the masks. I can barely breath when all I'm doing is sitting. they do more harm than good.

Kids can still breathe with masks on. The point of still wearing masks is to protect other people who don't have the vaccine. The vaccine doesn't guarantee that you won't get the virus.

As much as I dislike wearing masks, Octorara is not “illegally” forcing their students and staff to wear them. It was decided that there would be not a mandate on masks, however the governer left the decision up to schools to decide for themselves. A little while back our school board voted to keep us wearing masks for our own safety and the safety of our community. Masks are not harmful to us even though they may be uncomfortable (This obviously doesn’’t apply for people who do have serious issues where they can’t where a mask.) If this petition were to work we would most likely see an up-tick in cases throughout our school and run the risk of going back to virtual learning. Virtual learning was difficult for most of us and the school saw many problems rise out of this instance. Again, I completely agree wearing a mask is uncomfortable and over all is just not great, and I understand it can be harmful to a select few people, however it is the simplest way of keeping us healthy during this time. I don’t mean any hate by this comment, i’m just giving my thoughts. I understand if you think differently.
