The school has finally reversed the suspension and allowed Kavan to return to classes. It has been an incredibly draining process for everyone involved but his future is no longer in limbo. We need to stay focused on ensuring he can finish his education without further targeted unfairness.

'Just recently, a petition has been made for a student in Ocean Township High School. That petition is trying to have that student stay out of school because they are claiming he is a "Threat to the school" and that "Students are scared for him to come back" These are wrong. The description made it seem as if the student that the kid punched was innocent, that is incorrect. The student stood up for himself because that other student was bugging him to the point it was considered as bullying. This student DID NOT mean to hurt him. He should be allowed back into Ocean Township High School.' The person who is injured is not so innocent himself, one of the past recents fight was with a smaller kid that didn't even know he was getting into a fight. So what he did was punched the kid really hard in the back of his head and ran away. This does not seem innocent at all and the funny thing is, he didn't get suspended! He continued on with his education at Ocean Township High School. The student who currently has a 45 day suspension has not even started until winter break is over. As we all know, Kavan is the boi and he deserves to be heard as well! UPDATE; (The sister of the victim who was accused.) : McKenna Costello: Dec 08, 2016Come to the Board of Education meeting for Kavan on Tues. 13th at 6 PM. It is a public hearing so everyone is welcomed. We would greatly appreciate it to show the school Kavan isn't scared of by his peers. As a family friend of the student, I have background informarion about what is occurring in his life and he does not deserve to be removed from school.
Kavan is one of my best friends and I've come to know that he is a little hot headed at times, people don't understand that if u mess with somebody they are going to react he went off of his instincts after a kid threw his stuff. He broke the kids jaw but the kid had previously asked his friend to punch him in the face two times. Kavan did not mean harm.
He was finally standing up for himself and others by standing up against the bully.
I was a good friend of the kid punched until I found out what he told us was a lie I heard kavans side of the story and he was not in the wrong he should be removed for stand-up for himself
Kavan is a good friend of mine. He does not look for trouble and all though his actions were a bit aggressive and uncalled for he should not be punished to the extent he has been put through. I think the school made a mistake by suspending Kavan.

Kavan is a great person to my understanding. He exceeds academically and athletically. In my opinion he was a great football player and i feel hat it needs to stay that wayand for him to stay in school. The story seemed as if the kid eric got wat he deserved. Bugged to bullying. Eric has gotten into trouble on several occasions than kavan has and not to mention, he is a sneak, bully and theif. Thats all i gotta say.
