It is unbelievable that the OCWD is not broadcasting all meetings. Transparency in 2016 is paramount for the citizenry to trust their officials. If there is any opposition to this by any elected, they should be voted out at their next election.

If people aren't given any information they can't form opinions until after something is forced upon us. The media does very well at telling us about killings, etc. but not that much about our civic items. Yes I request that the public meetings be put forth in some form so more people know about what is going on.

Due to recent Board actions regarding the Poseidon proposal I feel the need for citizen review of the OCWD is greater than ever before. As a disabled senior without my own vehicle being able to watch the proceedings via livestream would facilitate my participation in our democracy while refusing to do so would severely limit my ability to participate.

Just like City Council, Planning Commission and other public meetings, all Orange County Water District Board of Directors' meetings should absolutely be broadcast via live internet and video archiving...unless, of course, they have something to hide or ashamed of what they are doing.

I've been attending as many of the meetings as possible. The directors receive a hard copy of the material to be discussed before the meeting and are able to better follow the presentation, and to study the material afterwards also. Ratepayers need the opportunity to see the same material at a time that is convenient for them. Video feed would be the cheapest way to meet this need for your ratepayers.

Having this live streaming option would make sense and keep those who cannot attend in person up to date on the issues. Also not a fan of paying a premium price for water for the next 50 years without having a way of gauging actual need, which will in large part be determined my annual rain fall and the replenishment of our aqua-furs .
