The high street is already unacceptably congested ,
Incredibly more house building has been approved. How can anyone not see this as a problem!!

I am one hundred percent behind you, whoever thought this idea up should come and live here. but no ! it doesn't concern them, just as long as they get their way. shame on you !!!

The village can't take that much traffic without coming to a halt and it would ruin life for us in Guise Lane

I've been fighting this application for a few years now and a final push may help us go in the right direction. Just imagine the High Street if we don't!

This will result in increased road traffic through The Causeway ,High Street ,Brooke Road and North End and is detrimental to the village and community here.

We recently moved to Guise Lane from what had become a very noisy busy village, we certainly don't want the same to happen here.

The current traffic through Bassingbourn is causing problems. Any increase will multiply these problems exponentially.

The village is entirely unsuitable for the increased traffic flows required. Guise Lane is an ancient single track route, few remain, altering it would be completely out of keeping with the area.

The road is ill equipped for the volume of traffic.

The decision to grant permission was premature and the true volume of traffic was not represented. There is no travel plan and the comment from Highways to simply step out of the way of traffic ( stated at the planning meeting) summed up the low consideration taken by highways.

This access is totally inappropriate for the amount of traffic it will generate.

The high street already has a high volume of traffic with Tractors, Articulated lorry's and buses/cars bussing up and down at all hours (much to fast) it is only a matter of time until someone is injured or killed, it would be a sensible solution to use the Barracks entrance to try and reduce the volume of traffic

Of 38 High Street. Happy to video traffic outside our home as it is already ridiculously noisy, polluting and dangerous with vehicles exceeding the 30 limit.
