It was awful I saw so many people get hurt. I have friction burns on my arms. Worst day ever!

This course was a joke.
Obstacles were not properly inflated, severely understaffed, registration line up took longer than the course, course was not laid out correctly or at all, did not come close to the 5km distance advertised, obstacles such as the swing were missing the swing entirely, only one small obstacle had foam despite more being advertised/implied, despite being called obstaSPLASH only 3 obstacles had water and it was grossly insufficient, lines for obstacles were not regulated or if so by volunteers who clearly were unhappy about being there, due to under inflation obstacles felt much more dangerous than other courses I've run such as Tough Mudder, parking was not monitored, bag drop was not overly secure, burns from the rubber on the very first obstacle, people dressed expecting water and there was very little of it resulting in friction burns on bare skin, small kids pools besides obstacles were the only reliable source, ropes and cords all over the ground from power cords to generators or ropes holding obstacles down had come loose, unnecessary trip hazards everywhere, very few obstacles for the price we paid, a single head band and silicone wrist band was poor at best for competitors "trophy", high drops on to hard ground where there should have been water made for a very dangerous course, had to assist many other people on the day climb over as they were not properly inflated and collapsed.
Incredibly unhappy about this event and it was severely falsely advertised, was a complete waste of time and money. Would rate 0/10.

I found it to be a disappointment and a waste of money, there was no foam and hardly any water. Most of the obstacles were broken and deflated which made it very dangerous and I have heard of many injuries as a result. I would defiantly like a refund!!!

The experience was exceptionally disappointing. The course was very dangerous without water, with the staff on the day Saturday morning) directing participants to traverse one obstacle in reverse so as to avoid the impacts caused with no water within the obstacle. We were a team of 8 and had been looking forward to this event as it offered a different option to the 'standard' obstacle courses. Unfortunately, it fell well short of any of our worst expectations and we are expecting some form of compensation - a full refund of our tickets at the minimum.

Our experience at ObstaSplash fell significantly short of what had been advertised by promoters - no water or foam (10am-12pm), no 5km course and obstacles that had not been set up properly, such as the rope swing and ObstaWall. Very disappointing, but what is most concerning was the lack of basic safety precautions and the organisers' response to feedback from participants about the event.

No mud! There was heaps of mud! So dangerous.. i mean come on.. we signed the waver but i didnt expect it to be that bad and unorganized. I slid off the side of one of the obstacles and injured my taip bone.. due to the obstacle not being pumped up properly. Fail. Big fail

The whole experience was disappointing, it was billed as a 5k obstacle course well for starters it was no where near 5klms long, one of the water obstacle's had no water in it (I was on the course at around 11am on Saturday and after long waits in lines finished about 1pm) so I doubt this one was filled with water at all!! The guy at the start of the obstacle did however warn us that there was no water and that the bottom was very hard so be careful!! the swing looking obstacle which in the picture has rope looking things hanging down from the centre bar had in fact no such ropes and was just a pool of water that you walked through, not sure of the point!
The main obstacle that did actually have water in it was only filled about a foot deep so not only did it not provide any protection when you had to fall from the 2+m high walls it also made it very slippery!!
So no the course wasn't safe No it wasn't value for money and No it wasn't Obstasplash it was more like obsta puddle!!
Oh did anyone see people covered in soap suds or soap suds at all??
Obstasplash give me my money back, you have falsely advertised this event and failed to provide what I paid for!!
Oh and I had my Gopro at the event if there is any doubt on what I have said

Such a disappointment. I was in the Sat 10am entry and one of the obstacles had no water at all, the other was being filled while we were in line for it. Then the only other one with water was missing the rope above it to swing across making it some silly walking water crossing activity.
There was also confusion over what some of the obstacles were - oh you're suppose to run up and jump on this random inflatable rectangle? and overall a pretty poor attempt at an 'obstacle course'
Plus there was very little information about what attire participants should wear. I assumed there'd be way more water stuff and went in thongs but ended up going around barefoot.

We all came away with friction burn. My brother-in-law injured his back trying to help someone out of one of the obstacles. I hurt my knee on an obstacle which appeared to be under inflated. We all came away with friction burns due to no water on the slides. This event was a rip-off!

FFS people!! Stop frigging wingeing about every little thing in your life. You probably winge if you got sunburnt on a patrolled beach. Stop ruining it for everyone else, accept some personal responsibility and harden the fk up.
Worse than the bloody POMS, I swear
