Never had a negative experience in the park, and I am there almost daily as I am a homeowner in the neighborhood. I would wholeheartedly support increased pressure placed on park users to always leave it better than they found it.

I go to the park often, and have never seen anyone get out of control because they have had a couple beers. There is a little something for everyone to do, and that's what makes it one of the best spots in denver!

Stop trying to control everyone. I live in Denver and love to use the park for athletics, food, friends, and fun. I also enjoy the right to have an ice cold brew.

Responsible adults who pay huge property taxes to live in the Wash Park neighborhood should be allowed to enjoy a beer at the park.

This will ruin summers in Wash Park and it absurd that this proposal is being considered.

Silly stuff, this ban. Grownups can decide for themselves.
This is ridiculous. We can all come to an agreement to maturely drink in a park without getting out of hand.

Mr. Nevitt, this unilateral move to ban alcohol at Wash Park would be catastrophic to the social atmosphere so many of its residents rely upon. I would highly recommend creating a common sense approach with the Wash Park community to mitigate and/or eradicate some of the concerns you have. You know, the community this would affect the most.

Mr. Nevitt, your unilateral attempt to ban alcohol at Wash Park is shortsighted at best.

Why are congressmen so sneaky and why does our government try and hide things from its Citizens. I feel these people need to be kicked out on there positions.
