Attn: David Ensor (Director, Voice of America) Voice of America Public Relations 330 Independence Ave., S.W. Washington, D.C. 20237 Dear Mr. David Ensor, On the Voice of America (VOA) web site, the "About us" section, a statement reads as follows, and I quote: "The Voice of America (VOA), a dynamic multimedia broadcaster funded by the U.S. Government, broadcasts accurate, balanced, and comprehensive news and information... VOA news will be accurate, objective, and comprehensive." Though, VOA is funded by the U.S. Government, yet, we have reasons to believe this particular segment of the VOA broadcast has not maintained "Objectivity" as VOA claims, and has engaged in an elaborate effort to advertise Mohsen Namjoo's product encouraging listeners and viewers alike to acquire his distasteful album. Furthermore, we believe that VOA has engaged in an elaborate character assassination of Reza Shah the Great; the father of Modern Iran. The Voice of America Charter clearly states: "To be effective, the Voice of America must win the attention and respect of listeners." Through the said interview VOA has certainly won the attention of listeners, but respect? Far from it. VOA web site also claims: "VOA’s journalists also rely on our Journalistic Code, which lays out the standards for reporting accurate, objective, and comprehensive news. The Code establishes VOA’s principles and practices for “sourcing” stories, and ensuring accuracy, balance, fairness, context, and comprehensiveness..." Objectivity? Accuracy? Balance? Fairness? Context? Comprehensiveness? Certainly not observed in this particular segment of VOA with Mohsen Namjoo. In fact, in this particular case, VOA did not report any news, instead they have attempted to Create and Make News. The said interview was more like "an agrandissement of an insult", rather than reporting a news worthy material in an objective, balance, fair and contextual environment. Insulting Reza Sha

People who support the Islamic Republic are against the Shah. Especially Reza Shah because of the animosity their Ayatollah had against him. Their Revolutionary Father hated the Shah and everything the Shah supported to modernize Iran from centuries of wars and ruins.

Dear Dariush Dehghan, Thank you for your comment. But I believe that for most iranians ( and all true and not arabic-iranians) is the great Reza Shah i a hero. I know that in your honest heart Great Reza Shah is a hero.

Shame on you, how you allow yourself as a state radio station to disrespect another country's heritage and history and worse of that allow someone to take party for selling a music album, this is first time in US radiostation's history.
