Objection to TWK proposed levy increase

I would far rather contribute to a Special Rates levy administered outside of TWK. TWK have proved that the money Greyton contributes does not improve service delivery. Take a walk thru town, chat to the residents and feel it for yourself.

As chairperson of the Greyton Mews Board of Trustees I strongly object to this levy and to the irresponsible spending of funds by TWK officials.

It is unacceptable that there is hardly any responsible oversight or accountability on how rate payers' money is being spent (WASTED!) by elected officials at TWK

I don't want the increase

We pay more than enough already.

Considering the already extremely high municipal rates we pay (much higher than the atlantic seaboardin CT) and we get next to no visible benefit for it, this is ridiculous that we are not expected to pay more for infrastructure, when nothing comes from the rates we already pay

No due process followed, no accountability and no transparency of use and expenditure of existing funds. There are no legal grounds for this unilateral imposition of a levy on already burdened Greyton ratepayers.

Illegal communication is just the start of my objection to this

I totally disagree with the proposed Rates increase. As a pensioner my small pension each month is already inadequate to cover just my essential outgoings, which include Municipality Rates. Please don't add an even greater burden on my rapidly reducing small Savings Account. I know that many other elderly residents in Greyton are in a similar position.

I petition against the R20 levy

An absolute outrage asking for additional funds. NO is my answer.

I object because Greyton already pays disproportionally high rates and taxes.

Categorically against this levy.
