Any prioritisation of pupils that go to one Catholic Primiary School is completely unfair. I am sure that when the school was given permission to be a Catholic School there was never the intention to prioritise pupils who attended the Primary School over other pupils in the Borough. Georgraphy within the Borough should not be a barrier to entry when it comes to entrance to a Catholic School.
Faith and fairness for all is more important that looking to set an precident that is totally wrong.

I am concerned my son who is a practicing Catholic would not get in because of this policy

I would like to strongly oppose the proposed change to the admissions policy. Not only will it, over-time, change and dilute the mix of practising Catholic pupils in the school, but it also favours children in attending the primary school. Therefore I would like to voice my opinion in opposition to the proposal.
