I am completely against this application as I live in Goodley Stock Road which is not even a B road and I know it will be used as a thoroughfare for large lorries passing through.

Lunacy for the rural nature of the area and for safety on our roads . Also there is no need or obvious reason for this development

The proposed building of a DPD depot on this site is totally unsuitable for the area and road network.

The roads are not suitable for the lorries. Ok if they join the M25 but not go through A roads !!

How can a gridlocked A25 between Godstone & Sevenoaks be socially or commercially justifiable?

Warehousing should be sited near a motorway junction. The A25 into Westerham is unsuitable due to width and thus most traffic with go through Oxted with an increase in noise, air pollution and congestion.

We object to this planning application on the grounds that it is development on Green Belt land, it will create an unacceptable increase in local traffic with corresponding risks, increased pollution and noise, impact on local environment particularly considering the nature of the business intended i.e. high volume of vehicles per day making deliveries, see article on DPD's website dated 17/11/15, Why is this application being considered again when the last application was not approved?

The A25 is chokka during peak times and whenever the motorway is blocked. It can't handle more traffic to the amount you envisage.

The proposal to place a building of this size within an AONB and in the Green Belt runs contrary to established practice and planning principles. The nature of the proposed operation (the distribution of initially up to 25k parcels per day) will permanently damage the local environment with a huge increase in traffic and with the attendant issues of noise, air pollution and threat to safety. It must not happen!.

It is inappropriate to develop this site which would cause an inconsiderable amount of additional traffic on the A25. This would means increased pollution, congestion on an already overcrowded road and a danger to school children and others who use the road regularly. I object to the application.

I strongly oppose the proposed planning application.

The plans will significantly increase traffic along roads that already exceed pollution levels.

Totally out of place and this development has no place here.

Inappropriate development Road A25 not suitable

An enterprise of this scale should be located at an existing industrial area and the A25 already struggles, this would make it far worse.
