SAY NO to Planning Application for DPD Depot centre at the Moorehouse site on A25

There are no direct motorway connections to the site which will result in a high number of lorries going through Oxted and/or Westerham

I drive through Westerham every day and frequently have to stop to let lorries pass on the 'pinch points'. The A25 through Westerham cannot accommodate any more heavy traffic and is not adequate for its use. Then there is the pollution and detrimental effect upon Westerham's many historic buildings. This is not an appropriate development.

I think this is a wholly inappropriate development given its broad impact on the environment and road safety

I am hugely against this planning permission. I live on the a25. We have been here two years, I walk my girls to nursery in a pram and I'm on edge as it is when large vehicles fly past us only a meter away. Our house has suggested structurally and she is have had two cats run over because of the already heavy traffic

Don't Roxhill understand the word'NO' following their first application!

We already have a traffic problem burden on A25 when the M25 jams up the proposal will make this much worse

The deadly spread of urbanisation in our beautiful Surrey Hills - marred first by the M25 and Clacketts Lane Service Station (which at least serves a few more people). Appalling. Finch's Mead Merle Common RH8 0RP

This would cause horrific traffic congestion on the already congested A25.

I object to this application as living on the A25 in Brasted we are already painfully aware of how busy this road is. A local development of this size and nature can only worsen the congestion. Alison Cheal 1 Old Bull Mews, High Street, Brasted TN16 1FA

Already our houses shake in Brasted as lorries and other big vehicles thunder past (faster than they should do). The volume of traffic is already high especially at peak times. Please save our villages from further pollution and traffic chaos by not allowing this to proceed.

The surrounding roads in and out will not be able to cope with amount of extra lorries. Westerham town centre will struggle too as 2 passing lorries at certain areas bring the area to a halt already!

Why this blot on the landscape is even being considered escapes me. We don't need the jobs in this area, the traffic and pollution is going to worsen the already ongoing problems the area and the A25 have. We elect the councils and we, the people, don't want it! Listen to your constituents!

It's green belt land. Surely if we keep allowing companies to build on green belt it soon won't exist. I want my children to grow up with countryside surrounding them. Not factories!
