THis is entirely inappropriate. The extra volume of heavy lorry traffic will be too much for the A25 and cause significant congestion in Oxted and Westerham.

Unacceptable extra air and noise pollution in an area already suffering significant air pollution from the A25 and M25. There are no “very special circumstances” as required by the National Planning Policy Framework to justify the harm caused to the Green Belt/AONB. The proposal is contrary to policies in the NPPF and in Tandridge Council’s current Local Plan. Urbanising impact on the AONB, and totally out of context with the local setting. All newly built DPD super depots are located in existing industrial zones, not in an AONB. Extra traffic created will cause congestion and potential traffic accidents on an already overcrowed and congested road network

This facility will blight the countryside, and cause additional traffic throughout a historically important area; the traffic is already bad enough. This is green belt land and should not be developed!
