This type of facility is not suitable for this area. There are no really amenities close by and with blaenau loosing it's hospital and the health centre loosing it's doctors at the end of this year just doesn't bode well for the intended people this facility will attract. We don't need a rehab centre which will facilitate undesirables when the local police and services are already stretched.

Blaenau is trying to put itself on the map by opening bounce below and antur stiniog, we have already got a company/work placement where the help people in need called "gista", which this has brought drug addicts and people with problems into Blaenau and made it a dangerous place already as some incidents have already happened in Blaenau(violence and drugs) so its inconsiderate that they wish to bring this into Blaenau that will cause more harm to the community. Our town is not perfect but we do not need MORE troubled people coming into Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Wash their own dirty linen in their own laundry .we have enough been sent here with drug and alcohol problems without having more .

i really believe that the negativity on this petition is shutting the door closed in other peoples faces. the planning report hasnt been detailed, only as an educational centre. if the town is to move forward then a development such as this must be apccepted to show a can do attitude. if anything this is scaring away 'any' potential investors who come to the area without the help of welsh assembly and tax payers money such as recent developments.

Everything that's needed in blaenau, eg hospital, registration, garage are forced to close which are vital services. This is not a vital service and will not assist the people actually living in Blaenau. There are enough social problems here without introducing more

WE REFUSE TO BE A DUMPING GROUND FOR OTHER AREAS PROBLEMS. FOR THE FIST TIME ON MANY YEARS OUR TOURISM HAS INCREASED, THIS PROJECT WILL HAVE A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON OUR TOWN. WE DO NOT NEED OR WANT PLANS LIKE THIS FOR OUR AREA!!

It is highly inappropiate to consider setting up a drug and alchohol centre for other communities within the town boundaries of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Blaenau as a town has it's own fair share of drug and alchohol additcted people of it's own to the point you only have to walk down the streets any time day or night openly see drug habits being fed and alchoholism not just in more mature adults but youngsters so i am totally appalled and opposed to this planning application

our hospital was closed which has heleped hundreds over the years,and now it woul be invaluable to blaenau with the zipwire and bounce below,and the bike track, but no money available to fund it, but there is money available to fund a rehabilitation for drug users, who chose to put this stuff in theire bodies,yet the tax payer has to foot the bill for these people who dont want to help theire self,,

Just as Blaenau is starting to draw in tourists again someone yet again decides to try and spoil it by suggesting something like this!!! I'm sure Denbighshire can find a place in it's own county!!

i strongly disagree on this rehab center being situated here. i have a young daughter and nieces and do not wish them to have to grow up and integrate with people who have badly damaged themselves by drug addictions.

I agree with everything that has been said. I have sent a letter of objection to the national park stating the reasons for my objection. Blaenau Ffestiniog can do without this. It states on the application that Arc Communities have consulted witn the local community, I dont think so as the first we heard of it was by letter sent from the national park!!!! I hope it is refused otherwise Blaenau will once again suffer.

This planning application was kept very low key, there has been no public consultation and that is a disgrace in itself. Blaenau is not the right area for such a facility, there is no hospital, two doctors to cover the area from Llan Ffestiniog, Blaenau and Dolwyddelen. Blaenau has enough problems without importing more from the Rhyl area.

According to information received it is not going to be a residential educational centre but a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, I believe that the location is totally unsuitable for such an establishment. There are a number of reasons for opposing this application which I can explain further if need be

seeing as we've lost the local hospital, and there will be a severe lack of medical practitioners in the area from next year, is it really appropriate to have this type of facility? Focus on resolving the existing problems first before introducing new ones.
