It’s a stupid rule, I seriously cannot comprehend the fact that we have to fight against something that should be nothing but normal, looking forward to fair treatment for female students at the uni, specially ones residing in the dorms.

It's completely unnecessary, not practical and pointless in every kind of aspect

When this happened to me last week for a second I felt that I wanted to drop out, Regardless of the sexism and the pointless of this stupid rule, we're not in school anymore and we're old enough to handle such "responsibilities". I hope this makes a change

When my friend narrated the incident that happened to her regarding this new rule, I simply laughed it off thinking (& believing) it was a temporary rule.
Until it happened to me.
It was a first hand experience of balatant sexism.
Regardless of the fact it's personally offensive, it was heartbreaking as well, for I never thought our university would go backwards when all around us people are going forewords.

This rule is first, unacceptable and second it is not fair, as adults, we are free with who we choose to leave with, and second, our parents set the rules not the college, not all of the girls drive and its our choice to carpool and druve friends to places

Where is our rights as women? This rule is like jail. We have the right to hang out and leave with our friends!! What if we didnt have a car for the day?!
