Women have been sexually objectified by society’s view of how they should behave and dress. There needs to be a change. Women shouldn’t feel uncomfortable and unsafe. There needs to be mutual respect; women are individuals and not objects of desire.

Take this pledge to give women the support and comfort they deserve so that they are able to step out of their homes wearing anything they want, without the worry that they might be judged, sexually objectified, or harmed in any emotional or physical way.

“When female stories are muted, we are teaching our kids that their dignity is second class and the historical accounts of their lives [are] less relevant. This lowered value carries over when women face sexual objectification and systemic brutalization from inside and outside the community.” ― Aurin Squire

Gender doesn't define us. Clothes don't define us. Publicity doesn't define us. What others think of you doesn't define you. The only thing that matters is who you are for what you do, male or female. Equality above all.

Equality is very important. We are all one species so let's treat our selves equally and with a great amount of respect.

As the mother of two girls I totally agree with this. Women should not be judged by the perverted and wrong thoughts in men's heads. Clothes do not define you. What others think is their problem.

Sick of being stared at just for doing my grocery shopping. Just want to exist without being treated like a prop. About time we changed this.

Respect is not optional. My daughter should be able to wear whatever she likes without getting harassed constantly. Totally agree.

Women are humans. All humans should be treated with dignity and respect.
