The administration has confirmed it will oppose any unilateral UN recognition of a Palestinian state. We achieved our primary objective. I am now monitoring the upcoming diplomatic briefing to ensure this policy position remains firm.
President Obama - Stand By Israel Do Not Accept Palestinian State Unilaterally Declared By United Nations
President Obama, you have not stayed true to our allies Israel and have set back peace talks by declaring support for a Palestinian state.
The Palestinian Authority is asking for the UN to unilaterally recognize their statehood, but Mahmoud Abbas declared yesterday that NO JEWS would be allowed inside this new state of Palestine, and they still refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist.
Abbas claims that he is appealing to the UN in a search for peace in the Middle East, but how can you be peaceful with your neighbor (Israel) if you refuse to recognize their right to exist!
Benjamin Netanyahu said that Palestinian statehood should only come AFTER peace negotiations take place...SUPPORT ISRAEL!
The reach of this petition has hit a point where our concerns are now being discussed in offices on Capitol Hill. I am currently drafting a formal brief to be delivered to the administration outlining these objections to unilateral statehood recognition. Expect a report on the reception of these documents shortly.

Finally someone saying it. Israel is our only true ally in that part of the world and we need to quit turning our backs on them.

ABSOLUTELY NO UN RECOGNITION. Peace has to come from talking not just handing over land to people who hate them.

How can we even consider a state that bans people based on their religion? This whole thing is just madness.
