Our county is at a stalemate and millions of people are suffering as a result of this gridlock. We agree with Congresswoman Maxine Waters who told a convention in California last year that there are demons on Capitol Hill. We agree, but these demons have not only invaded the Capitol, but also the White House. The times has now come to cast them out. There is no better person to do this than Pope Francis. Using the power that God, has given him, we believe that through humbling himself before God that these demoniac spirits that threaten to derail America can be destroyed. America is now in a spiritual warfare zone and only supernatural forces can end the chaos. Therefore, we are humbly requesting that President Obama make a personal invitation to Pope Francis to come to America and perform an exorcism on Capitol Hill and in the White House. Sweep both clean of these uncompromising demoniac spirits. This historic event would be used to eliminate these demons that produced this horrifying sequestration; stubbornly high unemployment; ridiculous debt ceiling fights; reduction in food stamps for hungry children; the scenario where every six Americans go to bed hungry every night; increase of surveillance into our personal lives; a don’t care attitude about the healthcare of the nation; and a host of other problems that are weakening America daily. President Obama should make this exorcism a top priority for his Administration. Without some type of divine intervention, his legacy could be ruined and America may lose more prestige in the world. In addition to the Pope’s visit to exorcise this troubled world, there should be A Bipartisan White House Prayer Conference that would include representatives from all faiths. This event should be followed by a National day of Prayer and Fasting. These are the two weapons that Biblical characters used when in distress and in uphill battles as is America at this point. New York Times best seller author Dr. Jentezen Franklin in Fasting and 20th century religious liberty author Ellen G. White in Happiness Digest both document the power of these two weapons in these publication Since Pope Francis grew up in South America, he appears to be more sensitive to the needs of the less fortunate. His emphasis on prayer might save America from what seems to be impending economic and political disaster. We should never forget that there is a large powerful Catholic delegation in Congress -Boehner, Pelosi, Biden, Ryan, and many more. Hopefully, they will all participate in the public exorcism that could save our country from financial and political extinction. The politicians have failed to heal these serious wounds and we now need divine intervention. This spiritual exorcism is needed now and CANNOT WAIT. Perhaps, the old Negro spiritual says it best- if we ever needed the Lord before, we sure do need HIM now.
