On September 12th 2006 the Oasis video for ACQUIESCE was shot. Some lucky, or should I maybe say not so lucky now, fans, including myself, were told they had won a place in the video \'where they would be the stars\'. All this was a lie when we arrived...arrived to find that the actual stars of the video were a larger crowd of oriental people and we,the true fans, were just props in the background to make the crowd look bigger. None of the fans were even filmed, well...maybe a few lucky fans had there hand filmed, we were told we would be the stars! Emails were sent out the day before the shoot informing us fans what we can and cannot wear...what was the point in that...we weren\'t even filmed, our clothes wont even be seen! We were ALL misled and lied to. Most fans had to take time off work to make the shoot and also had to spend big money to get there! I paid over 60 pounds just on transport to get to London from Manchester and have been told some people even flew from Ireland and Scotland! What was the point in the production company asking for our locations...they had no decency to say to fans travelling from afar \'well it may not be worth it travelling from such a place\'. To make matters worse some fans that entered the so called competition weren\'t even picked, yet other than the oriental people at the shoot many other people were just picked up from the street that day! How can that be justified Did they too get paid The oriental people were paid but thay didnt even know the words! The lie of an email said snacks would be available...well there was none, except biscuits! I do not class them as decent snacks. I had to ask for water many times and the staff didnt look to happy getting me some...would they rather I fainted instead. I feel so cheated, along with most of the fans...we were lied to and treated like dogs...we were given no respect at all. I want some answers and some sort of compensation for wasting my time and money...we were given a photocopied signed picture, were the autographs even real...what a JOKE! If you too were there and feel cheated and let down sign this petition! It is going to be sent to the production company, Oasis\' management, etc...anyone involved so we can get some sort of compensation... We were just used as the production team went over their wage budget to pay for more extras...we were tricked...told we WERE THE STARS OF THE VIDEO..THE FANS...and we weren\'t!!!
