Oakland Technical High School's use of Temescal Swimming Pool

I hope thta the City of Oakland and Oakalnd Tech parents can agree to a plan that allows students to have continued access to the pool.

We need swimming back!

Please continue to let Oakland Tech students use the Temescal Pool. Swimming is a an essential lifeskill and all children should graduate high school knowing how to swim.

My son really enjoyed having his PE classes there. Please allow future students to use the pool. Swimming is not just enjoyable -- knowing how to swim is an important life-saving skill and for those without access this is a true equity issue.

Swimming is an important life skill and safety issue -- please let Oakland Tech keep making sure that all students learn to swim in their P.E. classes.

Swimming instruction is an important resource for our students. Our high school students are also important members of our community.

It's very important that Oakland Tech kids have access to this pool and learn how to swim. Many Oakland kids never learn to swim and this could be a life-saving experience for them.

I see way too many high school aged people at Roberts Pool in the summer who cannot pass the swim test. Knowing how to swim is a life skill as important as reading. Please allow students to swim all day.

Please open the pool, it is a great learning experience, wonderful form of exercise and is a unique activity to do in our PE class!

Please allow the Oaklanf Tech students to use the Temescal Pool. Swimming is great exercise and it may develop intoa lifelong sport for some of these students which will keep them helathlyand stong and make them supporters of Oakland Parks and Rec when they are adutls.

Swimming is aqn essential life safety skill that not students or children in Oakland have an opportunity to learn. Kids a Tech have a unique experience as having it be part of the PE curriculum. Parks & Rec you are making a big mistake by not letting Tech PE classes in swimming be taught at your Remescal pool.

Swimming is an important part of OaklandTech's PE program. I hope Parks and Rec can work something out with them so that kids can have access to the pool.

I am so proud of Tech for making sure that all their students know how to swim. This is such a simple way to save lives.

Please allow Tech students to use Temescal Pool. Show kids we care about them and help them learn to swim at the same time. It's a life saving skill and can provide a lifetime of recreation as well.

It is so important for all kids to learn how to swim. For many kids, high school is where it happens. Please restore access for Tech students and teachers to use the pool at Temescal. Since the agreement has worked for so long, we should not "fix" something that isn't broken.

Please continue to keep the swim intructions at Oakland Tech. High School. For a a child this may be there only opportunity to learn the techniques of the water and feel comfortable.This vital instuction can be life or death.
