Oak Ridges Moraine/Pigeon Creek Conservation Area re-zoning

I attended the meeting today and although Planning and Zoning are opposed the file can be challenged and more than likely will be. So until we know for sure which will likely be in a few weeks this petition will remain. If the applicate wishes to oppose they will have to stand before the council like we did today to voice our concerns. We will continue to collect signatures to ensure are voices are heard.

I oppose the re-zoning within the Oak Ridges Moraine.

This re-zoning should not be considered.

I am not in favour of any development on protected lands.

Please preserve this wonderful natural asset. I have walked the area and it is precious.

I live in Toronto. In to wanting to preserve southern Ontario parkland, I have a specific concern with the water quality for Toronto. Please do not build up on the moraine.

I support this petition but I believe the rezoning was turned down on Feb 8th. That should be verified though and the petition closed if it is the case.

Been there and get it. Very rare fish..

If the property was bought knowing the conservation designation, then changing it is improper as well as unfair to others who play be the rules or purchase nearby properties with the understanding that they were near conservation lands.

Preservation of our conservation areas is imperative and necessary.

Save the Oak Ridges Moraine!

The pigeon river CA is truly a ecological gem in the kawartha lakes. A rarity that should not be lost.
