Please use this land for outdoor education, outdoor recreation, forest restoration, etc. Conserve this land by not allowing a subdivision or other for profit development. Thank you.

This would be a great asset to our community for a multitude of reasons. Improves recreational opportunities, quality of life, increase tourism, and would help attract businesses looking for attractive places to locate where there employees would like to live.

This is a beautiful area and a great piece of property to make this park. As a person who has grown up in Burke co(I'm 42 by the way) this would be a great opportunity. So many of our lands have been developed for housing. This would save a piece of property that we can use for our kids and ourselves to maintain healthy lifestyles thru hiking and biking and be a great connector to the Fonta Flora trail which has already proven itself as a wonderful asset to Burke Co. If the area needs more housing I am sure that we can get creative as a county and utilize some of our old factories and box buildings(Kmart, Biglots, etc...) to utilize as nice creative housing much like the Asheville area has done.

So excited about the possibilities tied to this land. Seems like there are benefits for everybody from educators and students to people looking for a new place to walk their dog, hope to see this vision realized!
