We should try to use sustainable and renewable resources to build the park. - For light energy, solar panels can be implemented - for shelters, sustainable items such as bamboo, or recycled wood and metals could be utilized - planting as much greenery around areas where trees may have possibly been removed, and using only organic/natural fertilizer and organic pesticides recourses such as vinegar. ☺️ - we can also raise awareness on recycling by placing recyclable bins around the park made out of recycled materials. - We could also make an addition of a compost area near the garden, and use it to educate children about the benefits about composting. Using sustainable and renewable resources to build this park, can create a long term greater impact to not only the life of younger generations, but also to the earths’ environment and ecology. Doing this, we can be one step ahead to greener and healthier county! ;)

We have walked this land and feel strongly that it would be wonderful addition to Burke County’s parks and open spaces.
