I agree. There isn't many things to do with my kids here in oak harbor. A splash park would be amazing.

my hometown Missoula has these all over! And they get snow. Kids still play on them with no water. It's a win win

As a person who grew up here. This town use to have all kinds of things for children. Kiddie pools at city beach. Bears the arcade right next to the movie theater. The nutral zone on Friday nights for middle and high schoolers to go a have a fun safe Friday night playing games and even dancing. Now we have one good park that meets all the needs of our children. A water pad is great for all children even the disabled children. Oak Harbor Public Schools has so many children with disabilities and has to meet their needs why does the city not live up to the same expectation?
