I support the students' wishes for a better graduation ceremony. They deserve it. I am not Christian and do not oppose having my children graduate in a church.

Terrific idea. Oxford should improve its interaction with community groups, and this would be a terrific start.

I graduated from here several years ago and I know that I would have loved to have graduation at Cottonwood Church. We were all kicked out of Anaheim High School after because another ceremony was starting. Several family members waited outside the building because there was simply not enough room for them! This is the perfect venue and as someone who is not Christian, I would not be offended by having graduation at a church. If this is considered "offensive" all high schools in the district should be banned from displaying any form of Christmas decorations but we all know that will never happen... People just find things like this to be offensive to them when it's convenient for them and in their favor (not wanting to pay the money to rent out the facility)

These students are proud to graduate and to limit the family & friends that are able to share this BIG moment in life is very sad, and only because of a religious facility.

Me, 2 of my sisters and our parents deserve to see our other sister/daughter graduate from high school. I think it is unfair to limit the amount of people allowed to attend, given family sizes range. In this case, our immediate household is made up of 5 people, not including the graduate. If the graduation stays at the Cook Auditorium, one of us won't be able to see our sister/daughter graduate.

ONCE in their lifetime event to celebrate not just 4 years of high school but most of the students have been at Oxford since 7th grade. Limiting family members to only 4 attendees for graduation prevents our immediate family to partake in this celebration. Cottonwood is closer to Oxford than Cook and is better equipped to handle a special event of this caliber.

Many kids have extended family members and friends that want to attend and share this day with them. Please give them this opportunity. They have worked so hard to get here. Cottonwood church would be a perfect location for holding the graduation ceremony.

Please allow the graduates to have their families there to honor their years of hard work by moving the venue.

I think Cottonwood Church is the much better venue. Being a church has nothing to do with making a decision to have the graduation there .

Every year my niece's school has graduation at Anaheim High School's Cook Auditorium. It is small, hot, there is poor sound quality, and there is very limited seating and parking. Every senior only receives 5 tickets for family.
This is a petition from Class of 2017 to move the graduation to Cottonwood Church's Auditorium, a much nicer venue in multiple ways and allows for almost unlimited seating in comparison since this event is a very meaningful celebration to the student as well as praising all the teachers for their hard work. Thank you very much for your consideration.
