The NZ Govt. is raising the driving age to 16.

 As a 14 year old 1 month from my 15th birthday i find this extremely annoying as my parents are constantly sick of driving me to and from school, sports matches and friends houses. The Govt. needs to lower the driving age back to 15 and take a deeper look into this matter it is the people who have been driving for years that are causing accidents not the "newbies" to the road the govt. should put in place a test that every driver has to take a test every 2-5 years to ensure they know the road code and drive responsibily.

 In addition perhaps they should limit the power of cars the under 20 year olds can have perhaps limit it to 2500CC or 2000CC??? We need this law changed back an incompetent and blind eyed governement has changed this law for no valid reason whatsoever. It's time to stand up and let the big-wigs at the top that our parents if not you voted into pariliament hear what we think and why!!

This law for raising the driving age to 16 will be in place by the end of 2010.
