While we applaud NYSSMA for its recent innovations regarding digital recording at large ensemble evaluation festivals and online applications for All-State, we do not feel that adequate attention is being paid to these other important aspects of the NYSSMA experience, both of which would improve the process immeasurably for NYSSMA members and their students.

I have been in contact with several committee members to discuss the technical requirements for an online manual. The feedback from educators suggests our focus on digital accessibility is long overdue. Further updates regarding the feasibility of these internal systems will follow soon.

About time! Dragging that heavy book everywhere is a pain.
Seriously need an easier way to schedule this. The current system is so outdated.
The amount of paper we waste is crazy. Please go digital already.
It is 2016 we should be past paper manuals by now. This would make things so much easier for all the teachers.
