I was at mohawk during a recent covid-19 spike. The facility is absolutely responsible for the spike of cases by refusing to shut down program, no social distancing, no testing and at mohawk the broken dishwasher that didn't hear to proper temperature had an absolute impact on the covid outbreak

Please get it together and do what is wrong for everyone in prison they are human beings with rights and they have family members who love them

Let’s keep our prison population save and healthy too. Vaccines should be made immediately to all inmates and to the prison workforce.

If protocols and standards are being followed I'm still not understanding why inmates still aren't allowed to have visits? I believe it does take a mental and emotional toll not being able to see and embrace family and friends. Its been over a year and facilities such as nursing homes, restaurant, etc are opening. There is no reason why with the way that prison is supposed to run that there should be an issue with the spread of covid. If there is a problem that means that there is a lack of leadership. Inmates are people too and need socialization and support. Prison is supposed to be for rehabilitation, not allowing inmates to see family and friends I believe hinders their progress. It doesn't seem right for them and it doesn't seem right to me. They are doing the time for their crime but they should have to be treated like animals in cages. Basic human rights should be met to make them better to enter back into society as better than they were before. I believe in second chances. We "All "come to a point in our lives where we need one.
