I think us 18 and older should be grandfathered in I don’t think it’s right that we can 18 year olds go fight for our country but they can’t buy a pack of cigarettes.

I’ve been smoking for 3-4 years now and now all of a sudden I’m not allowed to buy them myself anymore. Absolutely ridiculous. If I can go out and fight or die for my country or I can go out and make a political decision and vote then why can’t I go out for cigarettes?

They did this crap when I was already gambling for 2 years, then raised gambling to 21. I had 18th 19th bday parties at the casino, so THIS is just like that and ridiculous. Thanks! (I'm 22 now) so It doesnt matter. But i surely know how it feels. Why continue taking peiples rights away. We are old enough to kill ourselves in war but not old enough to buy what they want? Cute.

How are you going to allow 18 year olds to purchase cigarettes and allow them to get addicted to them and then take them away from them and raise the age it make absolutely no sense to me.

I can go fight and die for my country but i cant buy a pack of cigs when ive been legally buying them for 2 years already? When they changed the drinking age from 18 to 21 those people were grandfathered in but with tobacco the grandfather rule does not apply? Our system is currupted, and we will be our own downfall one day.

This law is stupid. Anyone over 18 is still going to get their tobacco products. Y'all are just making it harder and there really is no point. If someone wants to smoke cigs or vape let them. It's rlly not that big of a deal. The person smoking knows that it's harmful. It's a choice we make.

Why can i sign myself up to join the military, sign myself up to run into a burning building and save someone’s life as a firefighter, but can’t buy a pack of cigarettes or juul pods, or cigars until i’m 21? Why can i VOTE but cant do anything else? Drive? etc

I was 18 long before the law had changed it’s not right that it changed and I can’t buy my tobacco or nicotine products anymore.
