As constituents of Northern York Football and Cheer, we believe that our current Board of Directors and Executive board are not acting in the best interest of our community and, more importantly, our children.  This petition serves as a collective voice to let the current board know that we are not going to sit idly by and watch our organization fall apart.

We cite the following as instances where we think this board has acted improperly:

1. 1)       Having fundraiser(s) that involve activities that are of an adult only nature are not appropriate for youth organizations
2. 2)      This board, even after multiple requests from its constituency refuses to be transparent regarding recent decisions (ie:  Head Coaches)

A common theme among the conversations of this constituency is that our current board has lost sight of the fact that they serve the children of this program, the parents of this program, and the Northern York community.

It is for these reasons that we, the undersigned, respectfully request that the Northern York Football and Cheer Board of Directors adhere to the following:

1. 1)      Make a concerted effort to refocus its attention to what is most important.  Our youth.  This entails putting aside all personal opinion and doing what benefits our children most
2. 2)      Act in a more responsible and more transparent manner
3. 3)      Act in a manner that is consistent with this organization’s bylaws and not resolve to circumvent them by special vote.

If any board member finds that they cannot act in accordance with the above, we would request that they immediately tender their resignation.
