I live in Douglass Houses in Manhattan we haven't had gas since Friday and no water since Sunday. Housing gave each apartment hot plates to cook that is too slow to cook food it's not to par to live in. I went to my management office they told me the gas and water is going to be out for the next two to three weeks. They never put notices in the building to let the tenants know that there be no gas and water. It's a shame how housing treat us, but they want the rent on time

Something has to be done. Form a rally with all the tenants from NYCHA that is what I believe should be done..

Repairs need to be done in my apartment. I get ticket numbers and dates when they are suppose to come and verify and I take the day to stay home and no one shows from 8am to 5pm. I ask management what happen. they give me the run around. I give complaints call 311 no one gives me straight forward answers. Who can I turn to or call for help in repairs within my apartment??
