Whether your a married couple, single parent, guardian, or disabled parent the school bus really is a necessity to many, especially working class families.
Here are a few Pros with a chaperone:
Chaperones would provide preventative measures.
In case of emergency, of a sick child or driver a chaperone can quickly assess a resolution.
Timely manner pickups and drop offs.
Allowing the bus driver to drive safely and keep attention on the road.
More jobs will be provided.
Here are a few Cons without a chaperone:
Some parents are aware of certain illnesses before the school year starts. For some children their health alters randomly through the school term and are in need of immediate attention.
Unfortunately a bus driver may not be able to asses timely.
Children are not expected to know and troubleshoot All issues while driver is driving.
Physical playing or Fighting can be harmful and distracting to the driver.
Loud noises makes it hard to hear police, ems sirens and fire trucks.
Bus driver would have to pull over on the side of the road to asses any issues, which will result in late drop offs and pick ups.
Possible accidents can occur.
All Children's lives, and safety matters. With your help of signing this petition you will be a positive voice in the community and a voice for our children.

This is something that is important for the safety of the students. The bus driver should have help so that the driver can focus on driving only. Not watching the students while driving a bus.
