Nurses have united across the country. We are now asking for SAFE nurse to patient ratios be put in place. We want the patient satisfaction scores dropped that are linked to funding. No more mandatory overtime. Better benefits for employees that have been faithful to hospital organizations. Paid maternity and paternity leave for 12 weeks NO matter is there is time off in the bank. Treat your nurses right and they will work their tails off! Otherwise they will hospital jump...in turn the organization loses money. For once take care of the livesavers that make a difference EVERY DAY and NIGHT!

I left nursing mainly due to unsafe pt/nurse ratios. Talked to administration to no avail.
As a psych nurse who works in a hospital that staffs to the barest legal minimum, I cannot shout loudly enough that acuity ratios must change! Help us provide safer environments for our patients. Please staff us better to allow opportunities to provide more therapeutic activities, groups, and one on one meetings.
AP should be 4:1, AP Pre-E pts on mag should be 1:1, PP Pre-E pts on mag should be 2:1.
We need/require ratios across the country. Hospitals will never do the right thing on their own. Nurses will ALWAYS stand up for their patients and safety. Stop spreading nurses thin, they are not machines and people require different levels of care. Give nurses time to take care of those needs.
Please help me stop the requested patient to nurse ratio that my managers want to see for night shift: 10-12:1. As a charge nurse I refuse to staff add they wish and I am always at risk to be scorned daily for my decisions in staffing. Please stand with us and be our advocate since no one else will. Safe patient to nurse ratios should be no more than 6-7:1 and the use of acuity when necessary which would drive that lower in cases where a nurse had a very high acuity team handed to them. We are only as good as we are allowed to be! Help us be the best we can be!
Increase pay as well and forgive student loans
I left nursing because of unsafe staffing after 38 yrs.
