While I see this law may be in the interests of safety, this must not be a blanket rule made. Rather a case by case scenario. There are registered nurses with vast experience, skills, l knowledge in cosmetic procedures following safety and hygiene protocol to the highest standard, must not have their businesses ruined because of this rule. For example my cosmetic nurse, Rochelle at Glo Aesthetics Cannon Hill has Constant communication via video call with an overseeing Doctor, and has the absolute penultimate of skills experience and work safe practices and due diligence. Please don’t ruin this business, with a blanket law, because of the cosmetic nurses who are sub standard in their practice and performance . Absolutely unfair!

Low risk treatment should stay with nurses who are experts at this work. Stop pushing work on already stretched doctors.

Nurse lead clinics are more informative and better for consumers to make informed choices about their treatments.

I have seen a registered nurse who owns an independent business for past 20 years for my injectables and it is very safe. I do not wish for this to change

Nurses are responsible in their field of scope of practice. We worked hard to earn our degree either as a 24 year old or as a late bloomer in her or his 30ish. We are hard workers & passionate about our patients wellness.

For goodness sake, stop this regulatory madness.

I feel that Government are saying tele health is not to be trusted and yet it is being promoted for regional areas. Nurse led clinic such as Jade in Cairns hold their responsibility to their clients very seriously and I have utmost confidence in the Telehealth consultation with the Doctor where it is required. Nurses are highly trained and often a doctor feels a nurse is the best option with regards to some medical situations because of that intense training.

Please don’t do this. I trust and have trusted the ability of my ‘well informed’ nurses for years.
