No GST at a time when businesses are just beginning to some glimmer of daylight after a dreadful 2020. We simply cannot take on a tax that would increase our operational cost as this GST requires investments in highly specialized areas i.e Accounting and IT to meet the reporting obligations. To beleive we can pass on these additional cost to consumers would be seriously out of touch with current reality.

This is the most rediclas piece of legislation ever no one seems to understand anything about it and it seems as punishment to the people of Anguilla business is already in debt and own lots of money to landlords and supplier's when would they get out of debt after two to three years of bad economy this is totally a desaster and the attouriteys don't understand what's going on in the community.

Right now is just not the right time we're still in the midst of a pandemic some are barely even surviving just the bare minimum.. at least give 2 to 3 years leave us regroup catch our bearings sort ourselves out...
