NT must allow filming of "Lawrence: After Arabia" at Clouds Hill

Would be great for an authentic feel

I fear the NT are being a bit precious here!

The NT should welcome a new film on T.E and therefore allow Clouds Hill to be available. The film will be with us forever and maybe, become a National Treasure in itself !

Please reconsider!

I really hopes this comes together mark!! I would love to see the hard work pay off at the end!

This film must be allowed to present a factual piece on an amazing part of English history.

Please allow filming, very important that history is kept alive .The National Trust is there for everyone.

The film would greatly increase interest in Cloud's Hill, then the NT in general.

This is a small minded attitude towards a group of people trying to enhance the reputation of T.E Lawrence.

Please allow filming. This is an important film about one of our local hero's. TE Lawrence needs to have his life story kept alive, so future generations can learn all about this wonderful man.

Surely will increase interest in this NT property rather than decrease?

As a NT member I'm very disappointed that filming of some outside shots for Lawrence after Arabia have been refused at Clouds Hill. What possible reason can you give NT?!....a few professional film makers and actors will actually increase interest and attract more visitors !

I have big respect for The National Trust, however I am surprised & disappointed by the refusal to allow filming of Lawrence: After Arabia, at Clouds Hill in Dorset, the former home of T. E. Lawrence. There should at the very least, be a meeting to request to discuss the filming and any concerns if there are any. I hope this will happen soon.

I think it's very wrong the the NT should stop the British public from seeing this film. Lawrence was a complex and fascinating character as well as extremely famous, I believe we have a right to know the facts and form our own opinions. The conspiracy theory is not new and has been in existence since the death of Lawrence, so this is not a revolutionary or controversial topic.

Please let them film here, at the end of the day all films are a work of fiction no matter how loosely based on facts. I believe it is only fair as I understand it was initially going to be allowed. Sincerely Jim

I can see no reason as to why the NT would stop such a film being made.
