Super. I have student loans the size of a mortgage and now I can't work for the VA and/or a plethora of organizations? There goes my mental health.

Absolutely disheartening. My classmates and I recently learned of this after spending countless hours and dollars. We are discussing a possible lawsuit claim if this is not promptly addressed.

Me and my class are currently enrolled and are discussing the fact that we feel mislead to believing this was accredited. We are basically paying for a blank piece of paper saying we took fake classes. What a waste !

I am offended by the added requirements due to their goal of becoming CACREP accredited when they are not going to be giving us credit for it. We should either NOT have to complete these additional assignments OR we should be getting credit for them. When I accepted admissions into the LMHC program, this was NOT something that I was made aware of OR something that I agreed to. I hope they do the right thing because otherwise I am jumping on the lawsuit bandwagon and several of my peers have decided the same. I will be sharing this petition.

If, in fact, this is true, I know the faculty, there at Nova, understands the importance of having this credential. I, ALSO, know how important these CREDENTIALS are, with regard to reputation, future recruiting for students/funds, etc., AND for post-graduate placement, i.e. employment. Students NEED this process to be taken SERIOUSLY and to be completed IMMEDIATELY. For the sake of students, faculty/staff, and the program itself, PLEASE GET IT DONE NOW.

I just applied for an internship and was turned down because Nova is not a CACREP school. I was mislead, and lied to. I want answers now!

Unbelievable. I was also given the impression at orientation that the MHC program is CACREP accredited.

I'm currently in the process of applying to NOVA Southeastern University mental health program, winter 2017, and I'm surprised they're not CACREP approved.

I am an alumnus from Nova's mental health counseling program in Jacksonville. I am licensed and a qualified supervisor. I would love to teach in the mental health counseling program, but have never been afforded the opportunity. Good luck with this petition, I believe that it's s worthy cause.

For all the money paid for this program, it is shameful.

I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2008 and I was informed during my admissions process that the NOVA was CACREP accredited. If I had known it was not I would not have ever signed up. This is wrong and false advertising. I feel I was duped. I just tried to apply to USAjobs.gov and was turned down due to my resume showing NOVA. They emailed me and informed me that NOVA is not a CACREP accredited school. All that money in loans for what???
So discouraging and criminal!!!
