We, the membership of New Paltz Rescue Squad, Inc., believe in the following fundamental management practices:

1. that the management of this organization is and always will be driven by our Mission Statement and our Vision Statement:

Mission: The New Paltz Rescue Squad is a Volunteer-based nonprofit organization providing our community with professional pre-hospital care 24 hours a day.

Vision: The Volunteered-based New Paltz Rescue Squad provides professional pre-hospital emergency care and transportation for our Community. While protecting the dignity and privacy of each patient, we are committed to providing emergency medical care without regard to the patient’s race, religion, sexual orientation, gender or economic status. New Paltz Rescue will continue to build a welcoming, inclusive, rewarding and continuously improving organization.

2. that any current or future Leadership position, dealing directly with daily operations and membership, have a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in EMS.

3. that New Paltz Rescue Squad, Inc. is and always has been a sought-out environment of it’s people, in contrast to many other community-based and privately owned EMS services, and that every effort should be made to continue to prioritize it’s volunteers and staff, who so diligently serve their community.
