This is not a valid proposal. Teachers and our education system are being attacked from multiple sources. Our system was fine. The states are given that responsibility in the Constitution so everyone else should get out of the way. Our children are suffering.

There is no evidence to support high-stakes testing is improving the education of our children. In fact, there is a wealth of data showing the opposite, that our children are being hurt by these tests. Continuing the same flawed logic into teacher preparation simply does not make sense. I oppose this bill.

I oppose this. I am currently in college working on my education degree. My studies should be based on sound practices not the whims of government.
