Thank you putting this together! I have been very distraught about this since the letter came out last week. I have NEVER felt more failed by a school district than this. I have been an incredibly active participant in my children’s school PTA and their academics and that letter sent by the superintendent made me lose all faith in NUSD. I have young elementary school children and watch this school district fail them has made me actively consider other options. We chose flexible in person to get our kids back in school when it is safe to do so. The state and county have deemed it safe to do so and other districts have gone back but NUSD just continues to fail us and send out vague information.

Please get our students who’s family chose in-person back in the classroom!! Being virtual is detrimental on many levels!

Please hear our voices and consider our children’s well-being and mental health while working within the recommendations of the county. Our kids need to be IN SCHOOL!!!
