As a Father of Four working a Full time Salary job I find that by Friday afternoon I am ready to fall over, Wake Saturday chasing House hold needs and Maintenance which can often bleed over to Sunday along with trying to give each child some one on one time and group activity. Let alone my poor wife only getting the remnants of her husband on week nights which is often disrupted communication by the kids. I work on average around 9 to 9.5 hr days except Fridays which is 8.5 hr day. 4 days at 10hrs would be a blessing giving me another 24 hrs for family socialising or just plain time for me to actually give my brain and body a rest. God Yes Please !!!

i support this 100%. take advantage of the population. some people do more than just work and need some extra time off. we have an increasing population and technology, we need to fix our currency and lower the cost of living so we can dramatically increase the amount of jobs and decrease unemployment to record lows. Stress is a major health concern world wide and especially in the US along with lack of sleep. both leading causes of mental disorders.

I think a three day weekend is a necessity in America. Two days is just not enough to relieve stress and rest. I'm sure we'd all be a lot more productive if we had a three day weekend.

We need 1 day to recover from the previous week, (Saturday), 1 day to have nothing on our minds and/or be religious, (Sunday), and 1 day to prepare for the upcoming week, (Monday). People would be happier and more well-rested for the next week. You could just remove the 8 hours from Monday and tack on 2 hours to the 4 following days. You won't be losing any time. And nothing really gets done in Monday anyway so why not throw the extra hours on to days where we are productive and ready to work?
