I have been reading the notes many of you shared about your own experiences with these traps and I am humbled by how many people have reached out. It is overwhelming to realize how many others have dealt with this same fear in their own backyards. This is entirely because of your willingness to speak up about what is happening in our neighborhoods.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the response to this issue. It is clear that so many of you care deeply about the safety of our pets and kids in our neighborhoods. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who spoke up about their own experiences.

completely agree. keep the traps away from neighborhoods. hire someone who knows what they are doing instead of putting neighborhood pets at risk.
THESE THINGS ARE DANGEROUS!! My neighbors have one and I am terrified my toddler is going to get her fingers caught in it. Needs to be banned now.

This is so scary. My dog has been hurt by one of these traps before and it was a nightmare. Why are people allowed to put these out where kids play??
