BHS: Say no to rolkur and rudeness

We, the undersigned, wish to object to the lack of clarification in the British Horse Society's position on the practise of rollkur/hyperflexion. We do not accept that the four riding professionals quoted in the response in BHS News, are sufficiently qualified to comment satisfactorily on what is, essentially, a veterinary matter. We also strongly object to the intimidation and insults levelled at ordinary members who dare to question, from the Chairman, Patrick Print FBHS, and Chief Executive, Graham Cory. We question whether such individuals should be in a position of high office, if they cannot remain civil when faced with legitimate criticism, and would ask the trustees, with the exception of Mr Print, to look into this matter. We STRONGLY believe in the need for an effective national governing body to promote equestrian excellence, but feel that it is currently not in safe hands."
