John Gormley and his cronies clearly thought we would just roll over and accept this tax grab. The momentum building here proves they are dead wrong because people are finally waking up to this bureaucratic nonsense.

This will put so many people off the road entirely. Just another way to squeeze every cent out of the working man.
Gormley needs to get a real job instead of coming up with new ways to bleed us dry. sick of this government
Total madness. My van is my livelihood I can barely afford the diesel as it is. Leave us alone.
keepin my van. they can try and stop me but i aint payin for their mistakes.
so we get taxed to go to work and taxed to get home? when does it end

Ridiculous. they have no idea the pressure small tradesmen are under right now. Count me in for the protest.
