Ruining our game of rugby league

Surely halving the academy opportunities in this city will halve the opportunities for young hopefuls looking to make a career out of the greatest sport in the world! Both clubs currently have great academies, and this needs to continue if the sport is to continue. You cannot expect years of history and rivalry to go away and then expect the fans to be happy. Remember it is the fans that make the spirt what it is, not chairmen.

Nothing wrong with our Acadamy. Hull will always have lots of talented players. Better coaching better physio's better everything, but this costs more money. My point of view is you need a rich owner who had money to burn. Adam has spent money and put his money where his mouth is. Unfortunately he's running out of money (skint) and is cutting costs. Don't invest you go backwards IMO

Not a good idea, our youth teams are not the problem, its keeping them thats the problem an academy will not improve this. Rivalry of two teams is key to our passion, we are the one true derby lets make the most of these points rather than ruining our youth to achieve what i see as nothing gained by merging teams.

I'm a Rhino but I disagree the passion of both clubs means they don't need to merge at any level.

Would destroy the community spirit history and momento of the game and bannter when these sides meet thus history is part of hull and partvof the teams heritage
