Over 150 years of Rugby League history and rivalry will be destroyed with one fell swoop by the action of combining two great clubs foe what I see as a cost cutting exercise. Which player will play for which team? Hull player playing for Hull KR and vice versa? Players wanting to play for their hometown will not want to play losing young and upcoming players from the game or club. A ridiculous idea. Are you wanting to play into the hands of Sky of merging all clubs for a razzmatazz game rather than Rugby League? Cas fan. Say no.

I'm a life long Dewsbury Rams supporter, and to me the Derby game and rivalry between the Rams and the Bulldogs is one of the single most important parts of the club. Therefore I understand the rivalry between KR and FC is very similar and that merging the teams together would demolish an important part of the club.

Both clubs should keep their own identity in every way! Reminds me of the start of Super League when Widnes and Warrington was going to be merged which was never gonna happen, what happened to tradition?

If the RFL think they can get away with this move easily then that probably leaves us 1 small step away from full merger. Not avin it..

This means more to the fans than having a marquee player. Merging our clubs is far more than a cost cutting exercise. The chairmen should habe consulted the fans who are in fact the essence of the club's.
