I understand this is a cost cutting exercise but think it may backfire if supporters vote with their feet. I fail to see how reducing the number of under 19's in one team by combining 2 different teams can benefit Hull FC - Surely the opposite is true. You cannot have a squad of 40 or so players, so who will miss out? I have also taken part in the Lucky 13 lottery since its inception prior to FC moving to the KC Stadium. As part of the monies collected have gone to "helping develop & nurture some of the city's brightest young sporting talent" i.e. Hull FC's youngsters, I have no intention of contributing a penny towards Hull kr. The only beneficiary is Neil Hudgell who takes great delight in having a laugh at Hull FC's expense at every opportunity! Please think again Mr Pearson. Thank you

After a somewhat torrid year rugby wise this merger really is the last straw. Our 150th anniversary will now be forever marred by this ludicrous decision. Adam Pearson maintained he 'got' the way FC fans feel about all things Rovers and respected that view even professed to feel the same. Obviously just not true as if he did feel as we fans do this ridiculous merger idea would never have got off the ground. Don't the fans count any more don't the academy lads count anymore as I understand they knew nothing of the proposed merger when signing new deals the week before. Adam you may think you can ride roughshod over everyone but believe me fans will walk away rather than be involved in anything to do with the arch enemies in the East.

Look how well the FC under 16/19 s are playing. Why do they need a merger .It will be a retrograde step for FC and the only ones to benefit will be HKR

I have being a Hull FC fan for 36 years and talk of a merger with HKr in any form goes totally against every thing being a Black & White fan stands for. I don't agree with it in any form and also don't believe the Chairmen from both club when they say this won't lead to a city merger, its the Slippery slope and one I won't follow.

They will be lost to the game, or to Leeds.
