As a homeowner in the Village of Fruitport, I believe that the Village not allow this type of operation within the Village. I would think that there would be ordinances in place to, at a minimum, not allow this type of operation within at least 1,000 feet from any school, church, or publicly owed facility.

Any resident of common sensibilities would be opposed to such a overreaching request. Palazzolo’s are not, nor is their property at 3127 Pleasantwood DR 49415 the Palazzolo’s property is singular, individual and separate which stands on its own as a property in the confines of the Fruitport Township. 4. The Palazzolo’s have lived in good standing on their property over approximately two decades. 5. The Marijuana Grow Facility if granted would open and create a floodgate pandoras box type of situation we believe that the rezoning will have a significant impact on the character and quality not only of our neighborhood, but of the township as a whole. Affecting police, fire, infrastructure, administration, water, dpw, and on and on. 6. Palazzolo’s, believe it is impractical and foolish to change existing zoning to allow Marijuana Grow Facility. 7. The property in question was a manufacture facility. fenced secure property for at least 5 decades. 8. Palazzolo’s believe that the proposed zoning change directly contradicts the comprehensive plan that Fruitport Village and CharterTownship has placed on record to date. If allow, this could be the first in a series of zoning changes that could adversely impact many neighborhoods in the township. 11. Palazzolo’s believe this would have “chilling effect” with respect to safety, enjoyment of peace-of-mind, and even hostile situations where police and other Village/Township resources had to be called in due to the misuse of the Drugs and undue harm to the Palazzolo’s physical, mental, emotional right to a pea

No!! They can grow this out of town someplace,a down side is marijuana smoking for recreational pleasure. We have schools and children's play ground and parks here!
